Live your world,
Love your environment

A bold step toward the future of sustainable neighborhoods on the Anacostia River in Washington, DC.

First Phase Delivering 2025

Motivated to work and play by nature

With nearly 100 acres of immediately adjacent protected natural landscapes, the Bridge District combines innovative architecture and open space with a modern lifestyle.

Built for environmental impact

The Bridge District is an unapologetic champion of clean energy, environmental responsibility, and healthy living.  Within view from the US Capitol, we are implementing world-class solutions to make the city a better place.

The first phase of the Bridge District is targeted to be the largest ILFI Zero Carbon multi-family building in the word. Additional planned buildings will include DC’s largest mass timber residences, all pursuing LEED Platinum designation and ILFI Zero-Carbon certification.

Cyber education & training facilities

The Bridge District is designed to be the home of the National Campus for Cyber Leadership (NCCL).  This 250,000 SF building will offer government, private sector, and academic users a unique, collaboration-focused collection of classroom space, cyber ranges, research & development labs, and secure facilities.  Worker-focused amenities leverage the Bridge District’s signature, nature-focused environment: outdoor mezzanines, panoramic views, and a rooftop commons.

  • A workforce development program designed to connect our community with strategic partners in the cyber-defense industry

  • Innovative building design and infrastructure targeting ILFI Zero-Carbon and LEED Platinum certifications

Connected to a historic DC community

The Bridge District is part of a vibrant neighborhood with a thriving African American tradition, an arts community anchored by a Smithsonian museum, and an active center of government and military personnel.
